" OUTSTANDING"

Following our most recent inspection by CQC, Old friends care has been upgraded from Good to " OUTSTANDING " overall. 

Registered manager Vivienne Rogers said that " she is extremley proud of all of her care and support staff and her managment team, that have worked so hard to achieve this ". 

Director Kevin Mc Nally was particularly pleased with the feedback from CQC recieved from the people who use our services, their families, friends and informal carers. We intend to build on this magnificent achievement by enhancing our training, resource and wellbeing center to ensure our staff are fully supported in thier difficult role. 

We are blessed with some truly wonderfull staff. All our Managers and support staff started in our buisness as carers, includingour registered manager Viv and her deputy Sam. Lots of our past colleagues have used their role with us a s astepping stone in their careers and have moved on to become social workers, Police officers, paramedics or even took their skills and experience to other care settings. Other colleagues have worked here with us in their vital care role for many years and our longest serving carer has been with us for over 20 years.
